Display Energy Certificate
Buildings owned and run by public authorities have to have a Display Energy Certificate (DEC) on display in a prominent place where the public can view it. The certificate provides information on the building’s energy rating.
The report takes in how much carbon dioxide is emitted, how energy is used, what type of fuel and is it from renewable sources as well as construction, ventilation and lighting.
